The Korean drama One the Woman has been stealing attention since its premiere. This comedy drama, starring Honey Lee, officially replaces the screening of The Penthouse 3.
The first episode of One the Woman airs alongside Yumi's Cells and The Veil. The three dramas are scheduled every Friday and Saturday on different television stations.
However, the first episode of One the Woman achieved the highest rating among its rivals with 8.2 percent. The Veil scored a rating of 7.2 percent while Yumi's Cells won 2.1 percent on Friday (17/9/2021).
One the Woman's ratings have also increased significantly since its premiere. Episode four, which aired on Saturday (25/9/2021) broke through double digits with a rating of 12.6 percent.
It's no wonder that One the Woman was the most-watched drama of the week. Until the broadcast of episode four, One the Woman was watched by more than 2.5 million Korean netizens.
Synopsis of One the Woman
One the Woman follows the life of prosecutor Jo Yeon Joo (played by Honey Lee) who changes after awakening from a coma. She suffers from amnesia due to a car accident.
Yeon Joo is no longer in her body, but Kang Mi Na who is very similar to her. The woman is the second daughter-in-law of the Han family, the owner of the Hanju Group.
Meanwhile, Han Seung Wook (Lee Sang Yoon) is a conglomerate who has not forgotten his first love. He left South Korea to avoid the issue of inheritance.
When he returns to his home country, Han Seung Wook is determined to dig up the truth behind his father's death. He was reunited with his first love.
1. Honey Lee
Honey Lee is the winner of Miss Korea 2006 who represented her country at the Miss Universe 2007 pageant. She has starred in a number of Korean films and dramas such as Extreme Job and The Fiery Priest.
The One the Woman star plays two characters at once as Kang Mi Na, the youngest daughter of the Yumin Group family and Jo Yeon Joo, a prosecutor who graduated from Seoul National University who works at the Prosecutor's Office.
2. Lee Sang Yoon
Lee Sang Yoon previously co-starred with Jang Na Ra in the Korean drama VIP, and Lee Sung Kyung in About Time. He also made a cameo in Lovestruck in the City.
In the Korean drama One the Woman, Lee Sang Yoon plays Han Seung Wook, the only son of late chairman Han and Kang Mi Na's ex-girlfriend.
3. Jin Seo Yeon
After starring in the film Believer, Jin Seo Yeon won the 'Best Supporting Actress' from the 2018 Dajeong Film Awards. She is known for her roles in the Korean dramas Tell Me What You Saw and Eve's Love.
The actress plays Han Seong Hye in the Korean drama One the Woman. The entrepreneur is the eldest daughter of the Hanju Group family and Kang Mi Na's sister-in-law.
4. Lee Won Geun
One the Woman marks Lee Won Geun's comeback after a three-year absence. The owner of this baby face is known as Apink's Eunji couple in the Korean drama Sassy Go Go.
Lee Won Geun plays the character of Ahn Yoo Jun, Jo Yeon Joo's classmate at Korea National University. He comes from a wealthy family and works as a prosecutor.
